Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect the personal information you provide through this website.
Who We Are
Cloud Tax Consultants Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an accounting and tax consultancy registered in England. Our office is at Unit 8, Westham Business Park, Eastbourne Road, Westham, Pevensey, East Sussex, BN24 5NP. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us at info@cloudtaxconsultants.com or on 01323 920335.
Information We Collect
- Enquiry details — the name, business name, email address, phone numbers and message you submit through our contact form, or send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Review details — if you submit a review, the name, email address, optional business or role, rating and review text you provide.
- Client information — where you become a client, the financial and personal records we need in order to provide accounting, tax, VAT, payroll and related services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote; to deliver the accounting, tax and related services you engage us for; to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations, including filings with HMRC and Companies House; and to check and publish reviews you have asked us to publish.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Our lawful bases for processing are your consent (for enquiries and reviews), performance of a contract (for client work) and compliance with legal obligations.
Reviews
Reviews submitted through this website are moderated. Nothing is published until a member of our team has approved it. Where a review is published, we show the name and any business or role you provided, together with your rating and review text — your email address is never published. You can ask us to remove a published review at any time by emailing info@cloudtaxconsultants.com.
Cookies And Analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Some pages embed a Google Maps frame so you can find our office; if you interact with it, Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. If analytics are added to this site in future, this section will be updated and a cookie notice provided.
How Long We Keep Information
Enquiries that do not become client work are kept only as long as needed to deal with them. Client records are retained for the periods required by law and by our professional obligations (generally at least six years). Reviews are kept for as long as they remain published, or until you ask us to remove them.
Your Rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask us to delete information where we are not required to keep it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
